Various ferry companies take you on smaller or bigger, faster or more relaxed speed from the bottom to the top of the park, with dozens of stops to explore, walk, or simply have a picnic by the crystal clear water. And for a short expiration, take a walk to Split Apple Rock Beach just down the road.
Canyoning
Adrenaline and exceptional fun is guaranteed with the Abel Tasman Canyoning Tours. Winner of the Nelson Tasman Business Awards and presenting excellent reviews, a trip with the team into the park, up and down the streams, and through the canyons, will be a lifetime event you’ll never forget
Cycle Trails
Apart from the famous Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park (rental bikes & helmet available in Kaiteriteri) the area is famous for the Great Taste Trail which is worth exploring, leading from Nelson to Kaiteriteri (and back) along vineyards, restaurants, wharfs and art trails. Speak to the local Tourist Information for more details
